Four-Star WR Manny Allen Cuts List To Four, Checks Out Nebraska This Weekend

Corona (Calif.) Centennial wide out Manuel Allen recently cut his list of schools to four and plans to take visits to each of them this spring/summer. His first trip is this weekend to Nebraska.

Manuel Allen is part of what is a deep and talented wide receiver class out West.

Allen has a long, athletic frame, is a fluid athlete with high level body control and bounce to his game. He's very smooth in everything he does and

Allen, a former USC commit, recently cut his list of schools to four. The ones who made the cut included the Mississippi Rebels,  Nebraska Cornhuskers,  Oregon Ducks  and  UCLA Bruins. He has visited UCLA already and is currently on a visit to Nebraska as we speak.

"I'm just hanging out in my hotel room right now," Allen said. "I'll be here until Sunday and the Spring Game is tomorrow (Saturday). I'm excited and looking forward to the visit, this is my first time here and I've heard nothing but great things about the place.

"I'm not planning to make a quick decision. I still want to visit Ole Miss and Oregon later this spring or summer but I'm excited to see the fan support, meet the coaches and see some of the players on the team. I know some of the guys like Keyshawn Johnson and a few others already so it should be a great weekend."

Allen doesn't have visit dates locked in with Ole Miss or Oregon yet but plans to work on that when he gets home from Lincoln. There doesn't appear to be a leader right now but a strong visit this weekend could make the Huskers the team to beat.
