Class: 2018

Position: Cornerback

Height/Weight: 5-foot-10, 165 Pounds

Location/School: Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas

Scouting Report:

Samuel is a pesky cover corner who does a good job of staying in his opponent's back pocket down the field. This four-star prospect doesn't possess that prototypical size, but is exceptionally quick and smooth in his backpedal.

Samuel is a true cover corner who is technically sound as well. Samuel is also light on his feet with the ability to recover in a hurry and change direction. Size will never be on this Samuel's side, but he can really flip his hips and take away his opponent down the field.

Samuel plays with discipline and rarely falls for double moves as well. If you are a receiver, Samuel is the type of kid gets under your skin in a hurry. He shows active hands by always trying to make a play on the football, and is more successful than not when doing so.

He plays with a chip on his shoulder, so do not let his size fool you. Samuel does a good job of stunning the receiver when operating in press-man, and catches receivers off guard with his aggressiveness. Samuel is a fluid cornerback who does a nice job of blanketing his opponent down the field.
