Jameson Williams has gone from no offers to four in the last week, and the momentum is not likely to stop there.
Syracuse offered the class of 2019 standout from St. Louis Cardinal Ritter first, then Illinois, Kentucky and SEMO followed. With his size (6-2) and outstanding track results as a sprinter and hurdler, Williams is sure to continue drawing college interest.
"It was a great feeling receiving my first offer," he said. "Syracuse is a really great school. It has a great recruiting staff and coaches. I have not visited there but I hope I can."
Williams has not been to Illinois or Kentucky yet, but says he hopes to get to both.
"Illinois is also a really great school that was really big on recruiting, has great coaching staff and I would love to visit anytime soon," he said. "Kentucky was the third offer and I felt really great receiving this offer because It was my first SEC offer. I also hope to visit there sometime soon."
Other programs are beginning to find out about Williams, so he is continuing to wait and see what the future holds, a future that looks extremely bright.
"There have been multiple coaches following me on social media but none have contacted me besides the ones who offered," he said
Williams added that he has no visit dates set at the moment.
