Scout 100 OT Max Wray commits to Ohio State

Ohio State secured a big commitment from four-star Franklin (Tenn.) offensive tackle Max Wray Saturday and he spoke with Scout after his announcement.

Max Wray has committed to Ohio State.

The nation's 57th-ranked prospect is happy with his decision.

"I'm very excited about my commitment and it feels awesome," said the 6-foot-6, 281-pound Wray. "Honestly, Ohio State just felt like home to me -- and that's what set it apart. I feel really comfortable around the coaches and players."

He emphasized that coaching staff played a pivotal part in his commitment.

"I talk to (offensive line) coach (Greg) Studrawa and coach (Urban) Meyer the most and they played a huge role in my decision," Wray said. "They just told me about the track record they have with producing players. .

Coach Studrawa's energy and coach Meyer's expertise really appealed to me and I feel like I'm in good hands."

The Franklin standout is looking forward to playing for Meyer.

"I'm extremely excited," Wray said. "He's an awesome guy and a tremendous coach and the players love him. He's done a great job and going to continue to move the team in the right direction. It's only going up."

Now that he has made his commitment, do not expect him to change his mind.

"I'm 100 percent committed and done with the recruiting process," Wray said.
