One of the more impressive freshmen performers last year in the Midwest was Toledo (OH) Whitmer quarterback Riley Keller, and he led his team into the Ohio state playoffs.
Featuring great field awareness, as well as a strong, accurate arm, Keller put up big numbers last season for Whitmer. He impressed last week at the Cleveland Opening Regional.
"This was actually one of my first camps, so it was good to go through this experience around so many talented guys," Keller stated. "I've been throwing a little bit with my wide receivers, but I did play basketball and I'm throwing the shot put in track."
"I did visit Michigan State and I loved it up there," he explained. "When my dad and I talked with Coach (Brad) Salem, he told us there working on evaluating the 2019 class right now."
"Coach Salem did tell us that right now I'm there top guy for 2020," he added. "I'm very interested in Michigan State, and I'm just waiting to see what happens with them."
