It is one of the deepest years for receivers out West we can remember and Andre Hunt is another player who projects as a national recruit.

The athlete has a nice burst, the speed to get deep and can run away from a secondary. He is an explosive player in the return game and looks like a natural pass catcher as well.

Hunt transferred from Leuzinger to Paraclete in the off-season and should combine with quarterback Brevin White to form one of the state's top pass catching duos.

"Coach (Dean) Herrington (Paraclete head coach) is the man," Hunt said. "He's laid back but strict at the same time, a great Xs and Os guy, I like him a lot. Brevin is nice, he can throw it and I'm very comfortable here so far."

On the recruiting front, Hunt landed his most recent offer from the Colorado Buffaloes.

"Darian Hagan (Colorado RB Coach) is my primary recruiter and I'm very interested in them right now," Hunt said. "I'm going to give them a hard look and try and get out there for a visit. My dad and I just started to look at dates to see what will work out. Colorado is recruiting me hard right now, one of the schools recruiting me hardest so I'm excited about them."

The USC Trojans are making a push for Hunt as well and he was at the Spring Game over the weekend.

"USC is probably recruiting me the hardest right now," Justice said. "I'm in constant contact with the coaches over there. Tee Martin (USC offensive coordinator) is my primary recruiter and I talk with Clay Helton (head coach) as well. The Spring Game was cool, it was different. It wasn't your typical scrimmage, it more a situational format then all out game but it was fun to be there.

"I talked to Coach Helton and Coach Martin afterwards and they always tell me how they want me to be a part of the program. I like how SC is doing things and they're really rolling recruiting wise. They go out of their way to make you feel special but I still want to take my time and see what other schools have to offer before making a decision."

Hunt said he has several schools in mind for visits.

"I'm going to Fresno State this week," Hunt said. "Fresno State is recruiting me harder than anyone after USC right now. Arizona State is coming out next week to visit and could be close to offering. I'm going to try and visit there in a few weeks and I'm going to take another visit to UCLA as well.

"San Diego State is pushing hard and I'm going to take a visit out there as well. I don't know if I'll be able to take an unofficial there but Utah will for sure get an official. They were my first offer so I'm definitely getting out there. Oregon has been in contact with me and showing more interest. I'm planning to make a later summer commitment but I still want to try and take some official visits to the schools I haven't been able to visit unofficially."
