Impressive performances at camps in Indianapolis and Cleveland this year put 2019 wide receiver Cameron Phillips on the Scout radar, and he now holds two offers.
Phillips was offered previously by Illinois, and Tuesday evening he learned he had landed another Big Ten offer.
"I was offered by Minnesota," Phillips stated. "I talked to Minnesota on the phone Tuesday night and they were telling me about the program. I know they have a new coaching staff that is doing a good job recruiting."
"As the conversation progressed they went ahead and gave me the offer," he added. "They said they really liked my film, and that's why they issued the offer. I want to get up there this summer to meet the coaches and see the facilities."
"I want to learn more about Minnesota, and I'm definitely interested in them," he continued. "They said they're going to be recruiting the state of Ohio really hard."
Even though he has two seasons of high school football left to play, Phillips has the attention of college coaching staffs.
