Evaluation Notes:

Gabriel Douglas is an elite receiver prospect who can make game-changing plays as a vertical threat or a short-to-intermediate catch-and-run artist. Impressive top-end speed to separate downfield. Good frame that projects well as he matures. Catches the ball away from his body and high-points when necessary. One of the top wideouts in TXHSFB. He has a kanck for just making big plays. He can make tough catches look easy. He high points the ball well and shows great hands and concentration when climbing the ladder. He can take over games at times. He has the "it" factor. - Gabe Brooks and Greg Powers

Douglas assembled a huge junior season as he caught 82 passes for 1,302 yards and 17 touchdowns on 15.9 yards per receptio . He helped Denton Ryan to a 14-1 record and Texas Class 5A Division I state semifinal appearance.
