2019 RB Sean Dollars Talks New Offer From Oregon

Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) sophomore running back Sean Dollars picked up his first scholarship offer earlier today and it's a big one.

The 2019 running back class out West is looking like a strong one and Sean Dollars is a player who projects as a national recruit.

Dollars is a versatile back who is both a running and pass catching threat. He has excellent hands out of the backfield, flashes dynamic ability in space, can make you miss and has the speed to run away from a defense.

He's a decisive runner who gets up the field and doesn't show a lot of wasted movement or un-necessary wiggle. As he continues to fill out and add even more strength and top end speed, he will take his game to another level and has a very nice upside to him.

On the recruiting front, Dollars landed his first offer earlier in the day.

"I picked up and offer from Oregon and that's my dream school," Dollars said. "The receive my first offer from my dream school, the school I've wanted to go to ever since I was a kid is such a blessing. I can't even describe it, my thoughts are out of this world right now but it feels great that all my hard work is paying off.

"I know it's just the beginning and I have a lot more work to put in but to have this first offer out of the way is definitely a relief. I really had no idea it was coming. Coach (Keith ) Heyward (Duck DB coach) has been showing some love but I didn't know they were going to offer so it feels great."

Dollars is hoping to visit the Ducks later this month.

"I'm going to try and visit with Jeremiah Criddell (teammate) for the spring game April 28-29," Dollars said. "If I can't make it then, I'll visit another time. Right now, I'm just taking my time, enjoying the moment and not looking to make a quick decision. Later on I'll think about making some decisions but not right now.

"I want to visit a couple other schools with my parents but still planning it and trying to figure out where right now. I've met some of the coaches at UCLA and I'm hearing from San Diego State and Washington as well. Hopefully things will pick up after this first offer but I'm just excited and relieved about Oregon, a lot of stress has been taking off me right now."
