Scout Looks at Top Missouri-Based Prospects at UA Chicago

Scout takes a look at some of the Missouri-based prospects who will be competing at the Under Armour Camp in Chicago on Sunday.

Scout 300

DT Michael Thompson - Parkway North

On defense, he can close and get to the football quickly. In the camp setting he has proven that his quickness is tough for interior offensive line prospects to deal with. His development on and off the field will be key, but once he settles in at one position he should be an All-Conference type of talent. Thompson has a national offer list, but recently toured schools like AlabamaFloridaFlorida StateLSU and Mississippi.

DT Trevor Trout - Chaminade College Preparatory

Trout is a tank in the middle of his defense. He is the type of prospect in the middle who will command a double team and once he is established into a gap he will not be moved. He has a pretty quick first step for a big guy and is very strong. He is at his best when he is blowing up blocks and helping to control the opponents run game. Trout holds many offers, but recently mentioned OklahomaMissouriUCLA and USC as schools he is in contact with the most.

DT/DE Ronnie Perkins - Lutheran  North

This guy is an impressively explosive defender who has a very quick get off the line and the ability to dominate the high school level of competition. He has a strong and compact frame and he seems very strong at the point of attack. He slides around the defensive front showcasing is versatility on his highlight tape. He can play the run and he can rush the passer. As we pointed out, Perkins is very good at the point of attack. He can take on the block, shed, and make the play down the line of scrimmage or behind it. Off the edge as a rusher, he moves pretty well for his size. He has an elite offer list with P5 offers coming in from all the major conferences.

ILB Ayodele Adeoye - Ritenour

Adeoye is a rock solid middle backer prospect who brings to the table many of the skills you are looking for at the position. He's a very physical player who has the size to stand up to a lot of punishment in the middle of a defense. He can take on bigger backs. He diagnoses quickly and is difficult to block. Adeoye gets downhill quickly and arrives at the ball carriers coming downhill. He is at his best against the run. He runs through tackles and is a sure finisher. Offers from schools such as Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, LSU, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, and Oklahoma
