For the second straight year, USC has landed the No. 1 defensive tackle in the West.
On Sunday afternoon, Concord (Calif.) De La Salle four-star Tuli Letuligasenoa announced at a ceremony at his church that he was committing to USC.
"USC was the best school for me," Letuligasenoa told Scout on Sunday.
The Trojans were his childhood favorite and his dream school but they had to hold off Pac-12 schools Washington, Oregon and UCLA as well as Miami, Nebraska and Notre Dame to land him.
A year after landing Army All-American defensive tackles Jay Tufele and Marlon Tuipulotu, the top two tackle prospects in the West, the Trojans did it again, landing the top defensive tackle in the region.
Letuligasenoa is the No. 5 tackle nationally and was invited to the Under Armour All-American Game earlier this month.
He becomes the fourth player in the top 75 to commit to the Trojans and the fifth player in this class to be ranked in the top five nationally at his position.
