The state of Ohio has several highly rated defensive line prospects for the class of 2019, and Lexington defensive end Cade Stover is one that college coaches are well aware of.
"Being at Ohio State with me already being offered was great," Stover stated. "I was a lot more comfortable there and I felt like I was a priority for them. They aren't pressuring me to commit at all."
"I love it at Ohio State, and they treat me great," he added. "I've spent time with (linebackers coach) Bill Davis, but they aren't sure if I'm a linebacker or a defensive end. I think a lot of their program, feel very comfortable there."
Stover has also gotten to know another of Ohio's top defensive end prospects, and the two of them have spent time discussing recruiting.
"I've developed a friendship with (highly rated 2019 prospect) Zach Harrison, and we talk on a frequent basis right now," he explained. "We talk about our offers, and we have some of the same schools recruiting us."
"We talk about what we like and what we don't like, just comparing things we are finding out about recruiting," Stover said.
