East No. 8 CB Jermaine Waller discusses his top schools, including Maryland, Rutgers and Virginia

CLIFTON, Va. -- Cornerback Jermaine Waller talks about his top schools with Scout.

Evaluation: Jermaine Waller, a cornerback at Gaithersburg (Md.) Avalon, brings length and a physical style to the position. His size is something schools like, and he may transform into a safety in college.

At The Opening Regional at Centreville High, Waller was good in coverage. He located the ball well and he was able to stay on the hip of the receiver.

Waller's length was a factor when he was jamming at the line of scrimmage. He quick hands and strength allowed him to re-route receivers and throw off the timing of routes. He needs to continue to get lower in his backpedal so he is a bit more explosive driving on the ball.

Schools discussed in video: MarylandRutgers and Virginia
