ACC, Big Ten Schools Slide out Front for Florida-Based Quarterback Devin Black

SEFFNER, Fla. -- Three-star quarterback and 2018 prospect, Devin Black, caught up with Scout to break down his top two schools.

Devin Black, a dual-threat signal-caller from powerhouse Seffner (Fla.) Armwood, says a pair of Power Five suitors are sitting atop his list with the spring evaluation period well underway.

What first catches your attention is Black's elusiveness and athleticism in order to keep plays alive. Black is a pass-first quarterback who keeps his eyes locked downfield, but is also a dual-threat who can pile up yards on the ground if given space.

Black has a live arm, and is not afraid to showcase it either. He puts faith in his receivers by letting them make a play on the ball, but can sometimes force it by settling for the deep ball, rather than throwing it away or settling for a much shorter gain.

Black has noticeably packed on mass, and is certainly improved in regards to his decision-making and maturity under center.

Black breaks down his Power Five offers from IowaLouisville and Indiana, upcoming visit plans, and more in the video at the top of the page.
