Anaheim (Calif.) Servite defensive back Julius Irvin visited Washington earlier this month and the four-star enjoyed his time in Seattle.

"It was great, I loved it," said Irvin.

The atmosphere presented by Chris Petersen and his staff left the biggest impression on Irvin.

"What stood out to me the most was the family oriented atmosphere that the team prides themselves in," said Irvin.

Irvin got to spend time with the coaches while on the trip.

"I met with Coach (Jimmy) Lake and Coach (Chris) Petersen," said Irvin.

Irvin has already visited CaliforniaColoradoUCLA and USC but he's done with trips for the time being.

"I don't have any other plans to go anywhere else as of right now," said Irvin.  "I want to just finish out the track season strong and head into spring football."

Once spring is done, Irvin plans to trim his list.

"My plan is to narrow it down after spring and try to commit before the season," said Irvin.

But the trim list will still be work for him.

"Everyone is equal right now," said Irvin.  "I don't have any top schools as of right now, but after spring, I'm narrowing it down."

Irvin has a number of offers and said that Michigan and Vanderbilt could be next to join the mix.
