Connor Noland is a playmaking quarterback who senses pressure well and can extend plays to make something out of what might initially appear to be a negative down.
Noland can throw on the run in either direction and shows good touch and varied velocity as called for. His pocket awareness is evident on film. Noland isn't the biggest quarterback, but at 6-foot-2, has plenty of room to bulk. He throws with good touch to multiple levels of the field and knows how to time his passes.
He can improve his release consistency, which is likely a product of his baseball background, but his ability to vary arm angles as needed is an envious trait for a young QB (also likely related to baseball experience). Noland can also improve his ball-handling and security, as he sometimes holds the ball too low, especially when evading pass-rushers and/or scrambling.
Noland is one of the top overall prospects in the state of Arkansas for the 2018 class. - Gabe Brooks
