Scout 100 DE Malcolm Lamar Leaning Towards Suiting up in the SEC?

SEFFNER, Fla. -- Malcolm Lamar, who plans to reveal his decision on National Signing Day, breaks down what he is looking for in that one special college and more.

Evaluation Notes:

The one thing that Lamar certainly possesses is versatility. He is extremely long without much bad weight, and could transform into an intriguing offensive tackle prospect as well. Lamar flashes active hands to swat off blockers, and really does a nice job of giving it his all and pursuing to the football.

Lamar has a decent get-off and shoots into the backfield, but getting stronger is something to focus on moving forward. Loaded with passion, Lamar has a high ceiling and should really fill out nicely once diving into a college strength and conditioning program.
