2019 WR Cam Hart fielding ACC, Big Ten and SEC interest

CLIFTON, Va. -- Olney (Md.) Good Counsel wide receiver Cam Hart is one of the top 2019 prospects in the state and he spoke with Scout at The Opening Regional at Centreville High School.

Cam Hart's recruitment is gaining momentum.

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound wide receiver has picked up multiple scholarship offers

"KentuckyLouisville and Virginia have offered," Hart said.  "TempleMarylandNC StateNorth Carolina and Penn State are also recruiting me."

One of his most recent visits was NC State.

"It was my first time there and I liked it a lot," Hart said. "(Cornerbacks) coach (George) Barlow is a great guy and I enjoyed talking to him. I was able to take a tour and see everything.

"I also got to meet some of the coaches. They said they're close to offering and if they did, it would mean a lot. It's not far from home and my mom could go see the games. I'll definitely visit again."

His next stop will likely be Penn State.

"I've been there a lot and I always have a good time," Hart said. "They've been talking to my coach and are actually recruiting me to play DB, so I'm interested to learn more on the trip.

"It's a nice place and they have great facilities. They've also had a lot of success. The students were on spring break last time I visited, so I want to see how they interact and what the environment is like on campus."

As for camps this summer, Hart will head to South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia Tech.
