Name: Isaiah Bolden

Position: Cornerback

Height/Weight: 6-foot-2.5, 180 Pounds

Location/School: Wesley Chapel (Fla.) High

Committed to: Oregon Ducks

Ranking: Nation's 161st-Ranked Player Overall | Nation's 16th-Ranked Cornerback | South's Ninth-Ranked Cornerback | Florida's Sixth-Ranked Cornerback

Scouting Report:

This rangy defender is equipped with prototypical length and size, and could also project in the back end of the defense at free safety. Bolden does a nice job of transforming into an offensive weapon once coming down with the interception, but has flashed big-play ability as a return man as well. Bolden is fluid and operates well for a cornerback of his stature.

Bolden must strengthen up his frame moving forward, but has certainly made strides in that department. He has packed on close to 15 pounds over the past year, and is really starting to fill out nicely. This is a big play waiting to happen once it is time to clock in on the football field.

Bolden also shows good concentration and awareness when reacting to tipped balls. He is not afraid to lower his shoulder and strike with physicality, so his game should continue to take off as he dives into the weight room. Bolden impresses with his ability to stop on a dime and change direction. He shows no problem reading and reacting to the football.

Getting vertical to attack the pigskin at its highest point, as well as utilizing his size and being more physical in press-man coverage, are things Bolden needs to focus on moving forward, but this young man is brimming with potential.

There is no doubting that.
