Scouting Report:

Perriman, a dynamic slot receiver in talent-rich Miami, Florida, is that playmaker in space who does a nice job of eluding the initial defender with sheer quickness. Once getting the shoulder pads north and south, Perriman also flashes impressive straight-line speed to advance the ball. He shows that quick twitch and is effective when assisting in the red zone.

The Miami-Dade native has also made the weight room a top priority over the past few years, checking in at a chiseled 180 pounds. Perriman is at his best when operating after the catch, so he is dangerous on bubble screens and when provided with those one-on-one situations. He is slippery and a headache for defensive coordinators to deal with.

Perriman also showcases an aggressive running style. He does a good job of pumping his legs through arm tackles, and is not afraid to lower his shoulder into a defender. He needs to work on his hands and concentration, so catching away from his body is something to focus on.

Perriman can rely on his sheer quickness and speed to get open against the majority of high school defensive backs. He does a nice job of sticking his foot in the dirt to create separation underneath, but can work on not rounding off his routes down to the field.

There is a whole lot to like with Perriman, the nation's 216th-ranked player overall on Scout.
