Badger commit Pearson spends time in Madison

Wisconsin commit Reggie Pearson just spent several days in Madison with his future school, hear what he has to say about that and see clips of him competing at the Under Armour All-America Camp in Cincinnati.

Reggie Pearson was one of Scout's top defensive performers at Saturday's Under Armour camp in Cincinnati. The future Wisconsin Badger showed good instincts and smarts in quickly jumping several routes. That is in addition to the physicality he plays with when the pads are on.

For those reasons, Badger fans should be excited to have him on board, and while he received several offers following last fall's commitment to Wisconsin, a recent stay in Madison of nearly a week showed his commitment to the program.

"It was a good experience for me and my father," he said. "I already have a lot of family out there so I've been out there every now and then. It was good to see every part of the city and it showed me what Madison really is and it's nice. The school, I think it is going to be great because the academics are phenomenal and of course the football team is great."

Pearson has been to Madison several times throughout the last few years, so he had seen virtually everything Wisconsin has to offer before this trip.

"I did not see really anything specifically new, it's just a better experience and more of an information trip. All the other trips going there were sight seeing pretty much, this one I just left was more informational, so I took a lot of stuff in."

Pearson said he is looking at mechanical engineering or architecture as possible majors at Wisconsin.
