But it was a big one for the three-star because it was his first from the Pac-12.

After having visited UCLA last month, Brewer was offered by the Bruins on Tuesday.

"That UCLA offer meant everything," said Brewer.  "I can't explain how much work I've put in for a Pac-12 offer.  My mom was super excited and my grandma was crying tears of joy."

The groundwork was laid when Brewer visited in April.

"The visit was great," said Brewer.  "I love the coaches and their plan.  The campus was amazing and I loved the weather.  My family loved it and that's big for me."

There was one-on-one time with the coaches too.

"I'd say the one-on-one time with Coach (Hank) Fraley was what stood out," said Fraley.  "I haven't gotten that at every school.  Coach (Rip) Scherer and a few other coaches introduced themselves too."

Brewer said the offer was as an offensive lineman.

"It was as an offensive lineman in general because they'd take me as an inside guy, but he said he also thinks I could play tackle because of my length," said Brewer.

UCLA is expected to drop by Brewer's school this week.

The Bruins joined Air ForceMassachusettsNavyNevada, Dartmouth, Holy Cross and Portland State in offering Brewer.

The Dartmouth offer was a significant one for him too.

"Every offer means a lot to me, but I take pride in the Dartmouth offer because you don't see everybody handling school and athletics well enough to get that," said Brewer.  "Obviously, the UCLA offer was big as well."

Brewer has visited a number of schools this spring, including hometown Oregon StateOregonWashingtonWashington State, Eastern Washington, USC, Portland State and Nevada.

And Brewer thinks a few more offers could be closing in.

"I'd say Eastern Washington, Washington, Oregon, Ball State and Oregon State, but it's kind of hard to say," said Brewer.

A decision could come early in the fall.

"I'm graduating early so I want to commit early but at the same time, we think its important to take an official visit before," said Brewer.

Next weekend, Brewer will be at May Madness in Seattle then will be at The Opening Oakland regional the following weekend.
