Top-ranked Tenn. RB Master Teague's offer list includes ACC, Big Ten and SEC programs

Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Blackman running back Master Teague is one of the most sought-after running backs in the South and he spoke with Scout about his recruitment.

Master Teague's recruitment continues to pick up steam.

The 5-foot-10 1/2, 194-pound Teugue's released a top 12 last month, but said TennesseeOhio StateDuke and Auburn are recruiting him hardest, and gave a quick thought one each.

Tennessee: "They're a great program and the coaches are great," Teague said. "It's an in-state school, too, and that's good. They also have a good culture and tradition."

Ohio State: "I feel like it's a great place to be developed as a player and person. Coach (Urban) Meyer is also a great head coach and coach (Tony) Alford is a great running backs coach. They're also a great program that's had a lot of success."

Duke: "I love the way they've built their program and what they're continuing to do. I like the coaches and they have good stability on their staff, which is important."

Auburn: "They've produced a lot of great running backs. The coaching staff is great and I really like coach (Gus) Malzahn a lot. I also feel like I fit in well and their offense is similar to my high school's."

The Blackman standout's last visit was Georgia.

"I thought it was a great visit," he said.  "I saw a lot of things and talked with coach (Kirby) Smart a few times. He told me he thought I was a great player and that I'd fit in well at Georgia.  I also spent some time with (running backs) coach (Dell) McGee and met some of the running backs. They answered my questions.

"I enjoyed watching them scrimmage and feel like I would fit in well in their offense. The scrimmage was probably my favorite part. I like how they find different ways to get the ball to their running backs. I also liked watching how the players and coaches interacted with each other."

Teague does not have any other visits scheduled.

He hopes to make his commitment sometime in June.
