Watch four-star quarterback and Texas A&M commitment Cade Fortin work

Scout has seen a bevy of the top quarterbacks in the South compete over the last few months and a future Texas A&M Aggie impressed in Atlanta.

Evaluation Notes: Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett four-star quarterback Cade Fortin is a rock-solid quarterback prospect and he shows many examples why on a given day. At The Opening Atlanta this spring, he showcased a strong arm and the ability to move with fluidity. He shows the same on tape, even making plays with his legs as a runner more than given credit for, but looked among the most comfortable in the drills designed to make it tough on all passers. Fortin's arm is strong enough to allow him to make throws on the move and across his body as well. His accuracy was not as consistent as he would have liked early at the event, but he improved as the day wore on. With a solid frame, above-average arm talent and athleticism, Fortin is among the best quarterback prospects in the South for the 2018 class.

Recruiting Notes: Fortin is committed to Texas A&M
