He finished his junior year with 50 catches for 858 yards and seven touchdowns on 17.6 yards per reception. He also returned a kickoff for a TD and a punt for a TD.

"I am a deep threat," Hopkins said of his strengths as a receiver.

That a deep threat ability has put him firmly on the radar of a number of colleges. He has secured a half-dozen offers.

"I have six offers so far from Oregon StateLouisvilleNew Mexico, Houston Baptist, Howard, and Louisiana-Lafayette," Hopkins said.

Who is showing the most heavy or serious interest in Hopkins?

"Lafayette and Oregon State," Hopkins answered. "They are telling me that I will like it down there and that it is a second home, so I like to hear that. In June I am going up to Oregon State. And I was just down at Lafayette a couple weeks ago."

Hopkins says that he is also on the radar of programs such as Houston and Texas Tech
