IRVINE, Calif. -- Scout.com caught up with 2019 four-star quarterback Hank Bachmeier at the Best of the West passing tournament to discuss his recent offers, latest visits and more...

Hank Bachmeier is one of the West region's top signal callers in the 2019 class and the recruiting attention has certainly ramped up in recent months.

Minnesota was the latest program to jump into the chase with a scholarship offer and the four-star prospect from Murrieta (Calif.) Murrieta Valley said he has family ties in the state and definitely plans to look into the Gophers more closely. Colorado, which was the first school to offer, is another one to watch and Bachmeier said he intends to get out to Boulder soon. The last few weeks have been busy, with the likes of Missouri, NorthwesternOhio State, Penn State, Tennessee, South Carolina and Arizona all expressing interest.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound quarterback recently visited nearby UCLA and also holds an offer from the Bruins, and said he definitely likes what he saw during his stop on campus for a spring practice last month.
