2019 CB Jeremiah Criddell Recaps Oregon Visit, Talks Interest in UCLA

IRVINE, Calif. -- Scout.com caught up with Rancho Cucamonga cornerback Jeremiah Criddell at the Best of the West passing tournament to break down his weekend visit to Oregon and interest in nearby UCLA...

Oregon had already offered Jeremiah Criddell before his visit to campus last weekend and the Ducks only helped themselves when the fast-rising cornerback prospect was able to reflect on his trip.

The class of 2019 standout from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., has a couple former teammates in Eugene and said the conversations with new defensive backs coach Keith Heyward were highly productive, as was catching up with Jaylon Redd and Thomas Graham.

Criddell is also building a connection with UCLA, which has offered, and he said he likes what he's heard from position coach Demetrice Martin so far. He stopped by campus last month to take in a spring practice. Criddell, who added an offer from Nebraska earlier this week, intends to camp with USC this summer and also has been hearing from Washington.

Check out the video above to hear what Criddell had to say about his recruitment at the Passing Down Best of the West tournament.

[NOTE: Interview took place before his Nebraska offer earlier this week]

"Nebraska is a big offer because not a lot of people can say they have a Big 10 offer," Criddell said. "Football is religion out there so I would want to take a visit. It would be a pretty big culture change for me."
