Four-star Concord (N.C.) defensive tackle Rick Sandidge released a top 11 last week, but Florida State, Michigan, North Carolina and South Carolina are recruiting him hardest. He will visit Michigan, Ohio State and LSU in the next few months. He does not have a timeline for a decision.
Four-star Alpharetta (Ga.) cornerback Jaycee Horn has a top seven of Ole Miss, Wake Forest, Ohio State, South Carolina, Auburn, Alabama and Tennessee. Alabama is his top school. He will visit Tennessee and Auburn this summer. He is unsure of when he will make his commitment.
Four-star Virginia Beach (Va.) Bishop Sullivan outside linebacker Teradja Mitchell is down to Florida State, LSU and Ohio State. His last visit will be Florida State this weekend before he makes his commitment either later this month or in early June.
Four-star Shelby (N.C,) inside linebacker Dax Hollifield's top eight is North Carolina, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Stanford, Notre Dame, LSU, Florida State and Florida. His most recent visit was to LSU and it went very well, He will visit Stanford May 19. Hollifield hopes to narrow his list to five this summer and said North Carolina, Virginia Tech and South Carolina are some schools in good shape to make the cut.
Clemson, Ohio State, Florida State, Florida and Michigan State are the main schools in the mix for four-star Dinwiddie (Va.) outside linebacker K'Vaughan Pope. He does not have a time table for his decision.
Auburn has held the pledge of Jacksonville (Fla.) Bartram Trail quarterback Joey Gatewood since December of 2015 and he remains solid to the Tigers despite coaching transition that has included a new offensive coordinator, Chip Lindsey, following the 2016 season. Many other programs continue to recruit the dual-threat talent, however, including Georgia, Ole Miss and Oregon. Gatewood is open to taking visits to other programs but has no plans locked in at this time.
Lawrenceville (Ga.) Central Gwinnett quarterback Jarren Williams, who was invited to the Elite 11 seminfinals following Sunday's effort, still has Kentucky atop his list despite a recent decommitment from the program. His longstanding relationships within Mark Stoops' staff has the Wildcats fending off LSU, Florida, Florida State, Alabama, Tennessee and others although he is in no rush to make another verbal commitment.
Dakereon Joyner is down to two publicly, but internally he is down to just one. The North Charleston (S.C.) Fort Dorchester athlete, who plans on playing quarterback at the next level, will reveal his pledge between South Carolina and NC State on June 18. The ceremony at his school will be held on Father's Day in honor of Joyner's late father.
South Carolina landed in-state center projection Hank Manos in March, in what he reflected upon as a close battle between the Gamecocks, Duke and NC State. Even though it was tight between the three semi-local programs, Manos has no plans to continue to take visits to college campuses outside of Columbia, South Carolina. He is solid to Will Muschamp, who was in attendance Sunday, and company.
Despite committing to Florida State last month, elite class of 2019 offensive lineman Wanya Morris lists the Clemson Tigers as his dream school. Yet to pick up an offer from the national champions, he did sport Tiger gloves while impressing Sunday. In addition to Clemson, Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State will remain in the mix for the Loganville (Ga.) Grayson talent going forward.
