Kentucky lands 4-star Michigan OL Marquan McCall

Kentucky's recruiting class added a big piece in four-star Oak Park (Mich.) offensive lineman Marquan McCall, who announced his commitment to the Wildcats on Monday.

Kentucky picked up commitment No. 7 in the 2018 class and their second straight four-star offensive lineman on Monday as Marquan McCall announced his commitment to the Wildcats.

The Michigan native's verbal comes on the heels of the Wildcats adding four-star Cleveland St. Ignatius offensive tackle Darian Kinnard to their class.

McCall held offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Penn State, Wisconsin, Pitt, Tennessee and more.

He is a physical mauler who is recovering from an injury, but was dominant as a freshman and sophomore in camps and had a strong sophomore season at Oak Park.

The Wildcats are recruiting Michigan heavily in the 2018-2020 classes with area recruiter Steve Clinkscale taking the lead. In addition to McCall, they are in on several other Michiganders including Cass Tech linebacker Deandre Square, Gibraltar Carlson's Jaylan Franklin. They have also offered a good number of young prospects in Michigan, including McCall's class of 2020 teammate, fellow offensive lineman Justin Rogers.
