Lakewood St. Edward is one of the top talent producing schools in Ohio, and this year is no exception. Their highest rated player is four-star safety Michael Dowell.
Dowell is planning on announcing his college choice at the end of this month, and he knows where he will be going.
"I'm pretty sure I know where I want to go, and I'm going to be committing on Memorial Day," Dowell stated. "I've been talking to my family about everything, and that's when I'm going to do it."
"I will be committing at my school with my teammates, and I'm excited about it," he added. "I'm not going to name the schools I'm considering because I don't want to slight any of the schools that have offered."
"There's no reason for me to wait because I do know where I want to go," he continued. "It took me a while because I did take a lot of visits to see the different schools, but I want to get it behind me and get prepared to win another state championship."
With two older brothers, Andrew and David Dowell, playing for Michigan State, it would seem safe to think the Spartans will be getting their third member of the Dowell family.
