2019 LB Ralen Goforth Talks UCLA Offer and Who Could Be Next

Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco sophomore athlete Ralen Goforth is one of the state's most versatile defensive players and should see his stock soar this coming spring and summer.

Ralen Goforth played his sophomore year at Warren H.S in Downey but is now at St. John Bosco and should have a huge impact on what promises to be one of the region's top defenses.

Goforth is a natural linebacker who can run and hit and plays with a nice physical edge to him. He moves well in space and has looked good in coverage on the 7v7 circuit this off-season. In the right system, Goforth could play a rover type position or a cross between a linebacker and safety and it should be fun to watch him develop over the next couple of years.

Goforth's older brother Randall Goforth just finished up his playing career at UCLA and the Bruins were his first scholarship offer. The USC Trojans are showing interest as well and he said Penn State and Washington are two more schools who have reached out to him.

Goforth is a talented player that we think will be a national recruit when he's a senior. He's a tough, active kid with a motor to him and a strong work ethic off the field.
