Even though he can get overlooked on a team filled with Division-I recruits, 2018 safety Jeremiah Wood is one of the top players for Pickerington Central, in Ohio.

Wood holds 14 offers at this time, and he is hoping to add more. He remains open to hearing from any school.

"The most recent offers for me have been from OhioBowling GreenRutgers and Western Kentucky," Wood stated. "I don't have a real favorite list, and I want to listen to what any school has to say."

"I'm thinking of going to some camps this summer, but nothing is set right now," he added. "I do plan on visiting CincinnatiKentuckyRutgers and Western Michigan this summer at some point."

Wood landed offers from both Cincinnati and Kentucky early in the process, and he has already visited both schools previously.

"Cincinnati is definitely looking up under new head coach Luke Fickell, and there's a lot of excitement around the program," Wood explained. "He's bringing in better players and you can tell they've changed their recruiting. I have a relationship with Coach Fickell from when my brother (Jamie Wood) played at Ohio State."

"Kentucky was the first school to offer me, and I have a good relationship with the staff," he said. "I was there for the spring game, and spoke to Coach (Mark) Stoops. I'm definitely interested in Kentucky."

"I'm hoping to make my decision later in the fall, and I'm in no hurry to end my recruitment," he concluded.
