Sacramento (Calif.) Grant defensive lineman Niti Liu hit the road before the weekend, getting down to Southern California.
It afforded the three-star an opportunity to check out UCLA, one of the first schools to offer him.
"My unofficial visit too UCLA was a great experience for me," said Liu. "It was a standout campus as well."
The chance to spend time with those that were a part of the program was a highlight for him.
"What stood out to me the most about the visit was meeting all the players and coaches," said Liu. "I got a chance to meet with Coach Angus (McClure) too."
Liu walked away impressed with McClure.
"I think that Coach Angus is an honest coach who will do anything to get his players to a high level," said Liu.
Liu also got to check out the new facilities.
"I think the new facilities are a new improvement for the football team and the coaches," said Liu.
And he thinks another could be close.
"USC is all I know that could be close to offering me," said Liu.
Liu said he doesn't have a timeframe for when he wants to make a decision.
"I'm not ready to decide yet," said Liu.
