Jahmarae Sheread, a 5-foot-7, 152-pound speedster is a prospect to keep an eye on in recruiting. He has picked up one offer and is on the radar of some FBS and Power Five level schools.
"I got an offer fro Central Arkansas and a lot of schools are showing interest in me or talking to me," Sheread said. "They want me to come to their camps. Arizona, TCU, Tulane, I talk to Baylor, Minnesota, I talk to a lot of schools."
He could be a multi functional offensive skill player on the next level.
"I would like to go to a spread school or a school that gets their players in open space," Sheread explained.
Heading into the 2017 season he is working on his game and being a great teammate for his Cypress (Texas) Springs squad.
"I am just working on being a leader, because I am a senior," Sheread said. "I am up next. I know everybody is now looking at me to be a leader and I am just looking at how to better myself and how to better the team to make sure that we go to the next step, and that's playoffs."
Sheread forms a one-two punch with fellow recruit Taye Barber in the Cy-Springs offense and they have been playing next to each otther for a long time.
"Me and Taye (Barber) been playing with each other since we were eight years old," Sheread said. "He's got the jukes and I got the jukes. We are a package and when are not going to be able to be stopped."
