Micah Parsons, the No. 2 player in the 2018 class, was invited to The Opening Finals as a linebacker but he took a few reps at his natural position of defensive end during the competition at the New York Jets' practice facility.
His performance in all aspects showed why the one-time Penn State commit is being recruited hard by some of the top programs in the nation, including Georgia, Florida, Florida State, USC, Ohio State, Alabama, Clemson and Miami.
He measured in at 6-foot-3, 241 pounds and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.66 seconds, and dominated in so many aspects. In the cut-ups above, Parsons was crazy-quick at the snap of the ball, used his flexibility to stay low and win in leverage, and he showed his strength to turn a possible lost rep into a win. His speed and change of direction were also phenomenal.
