No. 1 DE Micah Parsons in 1-on-1s at The Opening in New Jersey

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Defensive end Micah Parsons, the No. 2 prospect in the 2018 class, in action at The Opening Regional.

Micah Parsons, the No. 2 player in the 2018 class, was invited to The Opening Finals as a linebacker but he took a few reps at his natural position of defensive end during the competition at the New York Jets' practice facility.

His performance in all aspects showed why the one-time Penn State commit is being recruited hard by some of the top programs in the nation, including GeorgiaFloridaFlorida StateUSCOhio StateAlabamaClemson and Miami.

He measured in at 6-foot-3, 241 pounds and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.66 seconds, and dominated in so many aspects. In the cut-ups above, Parsons was crazy-quick at the snap of the ball, used his flexibility to stay low and win in leverage, and he showed his strength to turn a possible lost rep into a win. His speed and change of direction were also phenomenal.
