Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Rutgers and Pittsburgh are the schools of focus for four-star defensive end Dorian Hardy of Paramus (N.J.) Catholic, and during his performance at The Opening Regional at the New York Jets' practice facility he showcased his skills.
Hardy measured in at 6-foot-5, 241 pounds, and he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.98 seconds.
In the 1-on-1 drills (in the video player at the top of the page), Hardy demonstrated good body control, an ability to change direction and a usefulness of his length. As he continues to develop upper body strength, the No. 28 defensive end will be more formidable in dealing with the initial punch from the offensive lineman.
Hardy showed decent speed to the outside, and a willingness to try different moves. He was forceful when pushing, but needs to continue to work on his hand quickness and placement.
