Nation's 16th-ranked prospect Teradja Mitchell will choose between ACC, Big Ten and SEC

MATTHEWS, N.C. -- Five-star Virginia Beach (Va.) Bishop Sullivan inside linebacker Teradja Mitchell was one of the top prospects at The Opening Charlotte and he spoke with Scout about his recruitment.

After receiving countless scholarship offers from across the country, Teradja Mitchell is down to three schools.

The Bishop Sullivan standout will choose between Florida StateLSU and Ohio State sometime in the next month and gave a thought on each school.

Florida State: "I definitely feel like it's home," said the 6-foot-2, 243-pound Mitchell. "When I visit, I just feel comfortable. I also have a great relationship with the coaches and players. (Defensive tackles) coach (Odell) Haggins is recruiting me and I can talk to him about anything."

LSU: "It's been my dream school and I feel like I'd fit well in that defense. I've been talking to (defensive coordinator) coach (Dave) Aranda and I like his intellect. He knows a lot about the game and I think he could develop me into the best player I can be."

Ohio State: "Coach (Urban) Meyer is a great coach and they've definitely been showing a lot of interest. I visited recently and it really got my attention. I enjoyed talking to all the coaches and developing relationships with them. But the main thing that stuck out was coach Meyer stressing the importance of life after football and that Ohio State could help me be successful."
