Tae Le is one of the region's top pass catchers and catches the ball as well as anyone in the state.
Le is a hyrbid pass catcher who can swing between receiver and tight end and brings a lot of versatility to the table. He understands how to get open, has a strong body and is tough to check for a safety but too athletic for most linebackers and does a great job catching everything with his hands, away from his body.
On the recruiting front, Le now has 11 total scholarship offers with his most recent one coming in Wednesday night from Boise State.
"I'm very excited about the Boise State offer," Le said. "I know about their history, their record, the BCS games they have played in, it's why I'm so excited to be recruited by such a powerhouse school.
"They came to my school a few days ago. Kent Riddle (TE Coach) is the coach recruiting me and then he offered me last night. He told me he likes how I fit in there offense as a tight end and also playing in the slot. I'm going to try and get out there for an unofficial visit this summer but if I can't, I'll definitely take an official visit in the fall."
Le said he's still sorting out his summer schedule and where he plans to visit.
"I'm going to camp at Stanford in June and I'll do the UCLA camp as well," Le said. "I would honestly love to try and see every school that has offered me but I know that will be tough. Thankfully a lot of them are near each other so we'll see what happens.
"The schools I'm talking with the most right now, among my offers, are Colorado State, Yale, Princeton and now Boise State. So I'm just going to play the process out and figure out the visits later on but I'm still open to everyone and excited that things are picking up for me."
