Last month, K.J. Henry released his top ten.
"I'd say the schools I've had the most contact with lately are Georgia, Alabama, Clemson, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Penn State," said the 6-foot-5, 235-pound Henry. "It means a lot that they're showing so much interest.
"They're all doing a great job and have a good chance to make my top five when I release it in a few months. They're all in very good position."
What is next?
"The only trip I know I'll be taking is Penn State," Henry said. "I don't have a date yet, but hopefully it will be sometime in the next month. It will be my first time there, so I'm looking forward to the trip, and I know they have a great tradition. I want to see what they have to offer and how they see me fitting in their system. I also want to see what the environment is like and campus.
"Coach (James) Franklin is the main reason they're in my top ten. He's really taken a lot of time to recruit me himself and we've developed a really good relationship. I talk to him the most out of anyone on the coaching staff and he's told me how excited he is to get me up there. I know (wide receivers) coach (Josh) Gattis well, too, because he played for my dad at Wake Forest."
Other than Penn State, he will likely take other trips this summer.
"I'll probably try to get back to Alabama, Clemson and Georgia," Henry said. "I would definitely like to visit them again."
Henry, who will enroll early, will likely make his decision sometime in December.
