4-star DE Jeremiah Martin

Wearing an Oregon shirt, 4-star DE Jeremiah Martin, 6-4, 224, Cajon High School, San Bernardino, Calif., tells Blair Angulo of Scout.com that he is planning to visit Eugene this summer. Martin indicated that he was recently offered by Oregon and talks about his recruitment.

Jeremiah Martin recently took an unofficial visit to nearby UCLA and also landed another Pac-12 offer from Oregon, but appears to be in the early stages of his recruitment.

The four-star defensive end from San Bernardino (Calif.) Cajon told Scout.com over the weekend that he intends to continue taking things slowly as he weighs every option, including plans to see a few out-of-state programs in the coming months.

Martin, the No. 3-rated defensive end in the West region for the 2018 class and No. 272 overall prospect in the Scout 300, said his stop by UCLA last month for spring practice was an impressive one. He also intends to check out AlabamaColoradoTexas A&M and Utah at some point this summer, as well as Oregon, which was the latest program to extend an offer.

Check out the video above to hear what Martin had to say about his recruitment at the Orlando Scandrick & Jeron Johnson Elite 7v7 Tournament last weekend.
