USC Commit Bo Calvert Planning Visits to Notre Dame, Nebraska, Stanford and Texas A&M

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. -- caught up with four-star outside linebacker Bo Calvert to discuss his longstanding commitment to USC and summer visit plans...

Bo Calvert committed to USC over year ago but new schools have entered the picture and several new factors could make things interesting in the coming months.

The four-star outside linebacker from Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian recently added an offer from Notre Dame and he told that the significance was heightened by the fact that the Fighting Irish also joined the chase for his younger brother, Josh Calvert. The nation's No. 4-rated outside linebacker said he intends to make it out to South Bend before the start of his senior season.

Stanford, where former high school teammate Colby Parkinson signed in February, and Nebraska, which features a coaching staff Calvert said stands out, are two other visit possibilities for this summer, along with Texas A&M and Utah.

Check out the video above to hear what Calvert had to say about his recruiting plans, comfort level with USC and more at the second annual Orlando Scandrick & Jeron Johnson Elite 7v7 Tournament over the weekend. Top Stories
