Watch class of 2019 QB prospect Paul Tyson excel during spring game effort

JACKSONVILLE, Ala. -- Scout saw some of the best in Alabama compete at Jacksonville State this weekend and few made more plays than class of 2019 quarterback Paul Tyson.

Evaluation Notes: Once making headlines because of his name, class of 2019 Trussville (Ala.) Hewitt-Trussville quarterback Paul Tyson continues to make his own as one of the top young quarterbacks in the Yellowhammer State. On Saturday, he made his Husky debut against Cordova (Tenn.) High and it couldn't have gone much better for the rising junior, using his strong arm to hit targets both short and long en route to a dominant effort. Tyson is a classic pro-style quarterback, tall and strong in the pocket with plenty of strength to get the ball outside the numbers as he did on the first throw we showcased (video above). He can also take some off of it, too, allowing his receivers to run under the ball when there's nothing but green grass ahead. Tyson also flashed great anticipation underneath and even threw some targets open on Saturday afternoon.

Recruiting Notes: Tyson has collected early offers from KentuckyUConnArmy and Jacksonville State.
