The 2018 offensive line class in Ohio appears to be quite strong, with several holding Power Five offers. Springfield guard Tyler Long is committed to Toledo, and the three-star recruit is quite talented.
The recent Under Armour camp in Cincinnati gave Long an opportunity to showcase his skills, and he took advantage of the opportunity as one of the top linemen in attendance.
Long is projected as an interior offensive lineman for the Rockets, and he discussed what went into his commitment.
"Every time I went there they treated me like family, and I loved it," Long stated. "It's also just ten minutes down the road for me, and that will give my family the chance to see me play."
"They also have a winning tradition, and I liked that a lot," he added.
Even though Long remains 100% committed to Toledo, several other programs have been in contact with his head coach about him.
"None of them have offered yet, so we will see what happens going forward," he said.
