3-star John Jackson talks Oregon visit and updates his summer plans.

John Jackson, 6-2, 200, Junipero Serra in Gardina, California spoke to Greg Biggins of Scout.com about his visit to Eugene just before the Spring Game in April. Jackson came away from Oregon highly impressed as he had a chance to see the Ducks during practice and also met the entire coaching staff.

John Jackson has made the transition from quarterback to receiver look easy over the last year.

Jackson has trained as a quarterback his whole life but made the move to receiver last season. Throughout the winter and spring, he has shown he is among the top receivers in the area and is still learning the position.

Jackson is a smart player, understands routes and how to get open, which being a former quarterback, makes sense. He has strong hands, does a nice job catching the ball through contact and has really improved his speed in the last year as well.

On the recruiting front, Jackson visited the Oregon Ducks last month and raved about his time in Eugene. He is planning several other visits later this summer and mentioned the California Golden Bears and Stanford Cardinal as schools he will check out and  Arizona  and  Tennessee are possibilities as well.

The Arizona State Sun DevilsUCLA Bruins and USC Trojans are showing interest in Jackson as well.
