Jordyn Adams is down to two schools.
North Carolina: "I've had a relationship with the staff for a long time, so I know what I'd be getting with them," said the 6-foot-1, 180-pound Adams. "Another thing I really like is the baseball coaches are recruiting me just as hard as the football coaches. That's important because I'm planning to play both in college.
"My dad is going to let me make my own decision, but the fact that he coaches there is definitely a bonus. Besides him, I'd say I'm the closest relationship with coach (Larry) Fedora. I've known him since I was 12 and really appreciate the fact that he would let me play both sports. He's also told me I could make an impact really early in football."
Clemson: "I like the explosiveness of the offense and the facilities of course. I love what they've done over the past few years and I think they have a bright future. They're also giving me the opportunity to play football and baseball.
"(Wide receivers) coach (Jeff) Scott is recruiting me and we have a good relationship. He's encouraged me to play both sports. He's also told me I'd have a chance to play early."
Last season playing predominantly quarterback, Adams threw for 1,156 yards and 11 touchdowns and rushed for 397 yards and six more scores.
He will make his commitment at Nike's The Opening Finals in Oregon in late June.
