Tyler Nubin is a class of 2019 prospect making noise in Illinois.
The St. Charles North standout is a cornerback with the type of length and size (6-2, 185 pounds) colleges look for. After a sophomore season in which he intercepted five passes, he is now receiving interest from a variety of schools and recently added his first offers from Illinois State and Central Michigan.
"It was great to get my first offers," he said. "I was really excited and truly humbled to know Division I colleges wanted me on their team."
Nubin has not visited either Illinois State or Central Michigan yet.
He has had numerous schools stop by North in the spring evaluation period.
"In addition to CMU and Illinois State, the following colleges have visited me or I have heard from them," Nubin said. "Michigan State, Minnesota, Illinois, Nebraska, Purdue, Iowa, Wyoming, Duke, NIU, Northern Iowa, Colorado State, and the University of Michigan."
"I plan to do a camp at Michigan State on June 17 and the University of Michigan June 23," Nubin said.
