Salua Masina is a seasoned veteran in the camp circuit and he showed his savvy once again over the weekend at The Opening Regional in Oakland.
Despite a slighter frame, the four-star outside linebacker from Salt Lake City (Utah) Brighton proved he's not afraid of getting physical and did well matching up with running backs and tight ends down field. Things have picked up during the spring evaluation period, with Arizona State and Tennessee being two of the latest offers, and Masina told Scout.com he intends to get out to both schools in the coming months.
UCLA and Utah drew visits earlier this spring, California got its chance this past weekend, and Vanderbilt is another program that has been pushing hard. Masina said he would like to make it to the Commodores' campus this summer to see things up close.
Check out the video above to hear what Masina had to say about his recruitment, including plans to hold off on making a decision until closer to National Signing Day.
