2018 Safety Zaire Webb Is Underrated In Ohio

One of the more underrated safety prospects in Ohio for the class of 2018 is Cleveland Heights athlete Zaire Webb, and the college coaches are starting to take notice.

Cleveland Heights safety Zaire Webb is coming off an extremely impressive junior season in Ohio, and the 2018 defensive back prospect is starting to draw college looks.

Webb, who can also play cornerback or wide receiver, has the ability to cover wideouts or come up strong in run support.

"Some of the smaller schools say I could play either side of the ball, but schools like Army and Air Force have offered me as a safety," Webb stated. "I'm also hearing from AkronTemple, Harvard, Miami (OH) and Buffalo."

"I want to go to a few camps this summer, like Cincinnati and Ohio State," he added.

The film shows a highly intelligent football player and that also carries over to the classroom for Webb. He is a very versatile athlete.

"I'm the type of player that can recognize plays and be good with pre-snap reads," Webb explained. "I can come downhill and make tackles in the box."

"I'm hoping to make a lot more plays on offense this year for my team, and I'm hoping to contribute more on that side of the ball," he said.
