Seattle (Wash.) Rainier Beach defensive back Darrien Sampson had to wait a while, but offers are finally starting to stream in for him.
Sampson picked up offers from Hawaii and Northern Iowa last week, joining earlier offers from Eastern Washington and Portland State.
"It was a real big relief," said Sampson. "I worked hard for them and I think more will roll in later."
A number of schools saw him workout during the spring.
The 6-0, 165-pound Sampson plans to attend a number of camps this summer.
Sampson and Rainier Beach have a number of prospects with FBS offers and he's gearing up for his senior year.
"With all of these D-I guys together, we're going to make it bigger at Beach and we're going to do some big things this year," said Sampson.
